Quickstart

Warning

Do not "double click" on the Selerity Desktop (Personal) download file. This application must be run from the command prompt/terminal.

Preparation

1. Save the Selerity Desktop (Personal) download along with your license and certificate files (from my.sas.com) to the same directory (e.g. C:\Temp)
2. Open a command prompt (Windows) or terminal (Mac/Linux)
3. Change into the directory (e.g. cd C:\Temp) where your files are saved
4. Now run the command appropriate for your operating system:

Windows Command PromptMacOS TerminalLinux Terminal

desktop_personal --start

desktop_personal_darwin --start

desktop_personal_linux --start

After answering a few quick questions, your SAS Analytics Pro software should download from SAS and start up.

Access will be via SAS Studio, and Selerity Desktop (Personal) will tell you the URL and username/password to use.
