Add-On: Operational Qualification Tool

SAS OQ assists you in demonstrating the SAS System is operational. SAS OQ uses SAS programs provided by the component development groups and will execute, process, and report the program results.

Note

SAS Install Qualification Tool (SAS IQ) is not required for SAS Viya deployments. SAS IQ validates an installation by verifying that SAS®9.x installation files were accurately extracted and copied to on-site directories. Because SAS Viya is delivered in immutable containers that are built at SAS, the container architecture provides installation qualification.

To perform Operational Qualification testing, ensure that no other desktop is running and the execute the following:

desktop_personal --sasoq

Once testing is complete you will see output similar to the following:
